Sunday Worship - What to expect

Most of our Sunday services last about an hour and are friendly and informal . No prior knowledge is assumed, and you won't be required to say or pray anything that you do not believe. At the heart of each service is a reading and sermon from the Bible, and there is also a mixture of hymns and contemporary songs, prayers and news, baptisms and the sharing of the Lord's Supper.

Children are very welcome. There is a mat and toys for younger ones and activities for older children.

Everyone is welcome regardless of :
       Your age
       What you wear
       Where you are from
       Your background
       You can only come occasionally
       You are differently abled
You are just looking and curious, You are coming alone or with family or friends

Look out for our Welcome Team as you enter: they'll be able to explain how things work and where to go. They will give you a leaflet describing the order of the service and a book we use for our hymns and songs. Words for songs and prayers are also projected, and if you don't want to sing or read aloud - that's fine - not everyone does.

You can wear whatever you normally wear – some will be wearing a shirt and jacket and others jeans and a t-shirt.

Do join us for a tea and coffee after the service for a friendly conversation and to get to know some people from the church.
