Prayer

Loving God,
Help us to use language that builds bridges rather than walls
Help us to use language that opens You up, rather than closes You off
Help us to remember to keep it simple.
Amen

Lord,help us to respond to your voice, leaving behind things that have bound us and stepping out with our confidence renewed. We know that you came to release the captives, bind up the broken hearted, remove the burdens from the oppressed and restore sight to the blind. Help us know this Good News is for us and for those you bring our way. We pray for all who need the Spirits touch. Amen

The Lord's Prayer 

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.
