Funerals

When we are asked to conduct a funeral service at Welwyn Garden City Church we take special care because they are one of the most important times in the life of the bereaved family.

We see these services as a time of Celebration and Thanksgiving, an opportunity to remember, a time to smile at those memories and a time to be sad.

They are a special opportunity to tell the story of a person’s life and to share the Good News that death is not the end but a new beginning.

They are an opportunity for friends and family to pay their respects to the person who has died and to begin the healing as they surround you with warmth and loving support.
